Gautrans environmental authorisation granted
The Gauteng Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Environment has granted environmental authorisation for the preliminary design of upgrading Lynnwood Road (Road K34) between Roads K54 and K40 to provincial standards.
Softchem was awarded the contract to complete the environmental impact assessment (EIA) process for the proposed widening of Lynnwood Road (K34) for the Gauteng Department of Transport (Gautrans) on behalf of Biyana and Van Tonder Consulting Engineers in February 2007 and the project started during March 2007.
